Blending: hearing separate sounds and joining them into a word. It is the step that comes just before reading.
Each level adds a few letter-sounds. Level 2 uses s, a, t, p, i, n, m and d. Higher levels add more. Every word in the game uses only the sounds of the level you choose. See the sounds in each level, or answer a few questions to find your childβs level.
