How to play

1. The story appears one sentence at a time.
2. Your child reads each sentence.
3. At the end, your child tells the story back in their own words.

Which level?

Each level adds a few letter-sounds. Level 2 uses s, a, t, p, i, n, m and d. Higher levels add more. Every word in the game uses only the sounds of the level you choose. See the sounds in each level, or answer a few questions to find your child’s level.

• A grown-up sits with the child. The game cannot hear your child read, so you decide what counts as read.
